Community Involvement
Foundation Care has joined many professional organizations that provide access to a wide variety of pharmacy-related resources, giving us the opportunity to serve the unique healthcare needs of our patients.
Foundation Care also supports several nonprofit organizations in their efforts. It is important to us that we connect with our patients on a personal level.

- Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP)
Health care practitioners working in managed care pharmacy strive to improve the health and well-being of some 200 million Americans living in every corner of the country.
- American Pharmaceutical Association (APHA)
APhA is a leader in providing professional information and education for pharmacists and an advocate for improving the health of the American public.
- American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP)
The vision of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists is optimal medication management and improved health outcomes for all older persons. The American Society of Consultant Pharmacists empowers pharmacists to enhance quality of care for all older persons through the appropriate use of medication and the promotion of healthy aging.
- American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP)
ASHP is a 35,000-member national professional association that represents pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems. ASHP is the only national organization of hospital and health-system pharmacists and has a long history of improving medication use and enhancing patient safety.

The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) is an association that represents more than 2,000 pharmacists and technicians who focus on the specialty practice of pharmacy compounding.

MAMES is an organization formed out of the need for a more powerful voice in legislative matters... a need for education and information that is critical to our continued success as an industry.
- Missouri Pharmaceutical Association (MPHA)
The Missouri Pharmacy Association is a committed group of professional pharmacists with high standards and goals, both for themselves and their profession. MPA has a rich history of involvement in pharmacy issues on state and national levels. With membership, a pharmacist joins others who support the professional ideas for which pharmacy stands.
- National Association of Independent Medical Equipment Suppliers (NAIMES)
NAIMES is a grassroots advocacy organization whose goal is to influence policy through legislative education and by offering assistance to suppliers at the state level which will affect change at the national level. Membership in NAIMES is available to all independent, privately held DME suppliers regardless of their specialties. Members must have an NPI number.

The National Community Pharmacists Association, founded in 1898, represents America’s community pharmacists, including the owners of more than 23,000 pharmacies. The nation’s community pharmacies, pharmacy franchises, and regional chains dispense nearly half of the nation’s retail prescription medications.

The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) is committed to meeting the needs of its growing and diverse membership—and to advocating on behalf of our members and the home based infusion patient.

The Purpose of USACFA is to provide a source of information for CF adults regarding the basis, nature and progression of the disease, as well as the latest treatments and research to fight it and to provide a forum for CF adults to communicate to each other.
- Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc (CFRI)
Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. exists to fund research, to provide educational and personal support, and to spread awareness of cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease. As they work to find a cure for cystic fibrosis, CFRI envisions informing, engaging and empowering the CF community to help all who have this challenging disease attain the highest possible quality of life.
