HYPERTONIC SALINE
At Foundation Care, we are working to make life easier for those with Cystic Fibrosis. If you allow us, we can take away the hassle of preparing your Hypertonic Saline prescription. At Foundation Care, 7% Hypertonic Saline is now commercially available as Hyper-Sal™ 7% unit dose vials.
Foundation Care will also customize your patient's medication by preparing Hypertonic Saline to your specification. As the physician, you decide the concentration and volume of each dose to be prepared for your patients. (i.e. 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 9% in 3ml, 4ml, 5ml, etc.)

Dosage Forms Commonly Used in the Treatment of Cystic Fibrosis
- Hypertonic Saline (any strength) 4ml or 5ml in traditional nebulizer
- Hypertonic Saline (any strength) 3ml in an eFlow® SCF nebulizer
Patients receiving chronic antibiotic therapy of Tobramycin or Colistimethate and Hypertonic Saline from Foundation Care may qualify for our FREE Hypertonic Saline program.
