First Annual Health Fair A Success!

June 25, 2010 - Earth City, MO – Nearly 200 people attended the First Annual Health Fair sponsored by Foundation Care Pharmacy on June 24, 2010. With 18 vendors, the event took place over four hours and included health screenings, information/education booths, demonstrations, and free food. It was a very special healthful event!

Screenings were provided by Foundation Care, Club Fitness, and Logan School of Chiropractic for cholesterol, glucose, BMI, body fat, blood pressure, and posture screening. Andrea’s Gluten Free and Xocai Healthy Chocolate provided delicious samplings of their popular products. And to top off the event, the Apothecary Shops provided free Jimmy Johns subs.

Also at the event, Foundation Care Pharmacy kicked off the flu season by offering walk-in retail customers the opportunity to book flu shot appointments beginning October 1st. In addition, the pharmacy started signing employers up for an onsite workplace flu clinic provided by a Foundation Care immunization specialist. The goal is to keep workplaces healthy this flu season!
