Foundation Care knows that supporting patients goes beyond basic pharmacy services and advocacy groups. Below is a just small sample of organizations we support annually.

The Boomer Esiason Foundation

The Boomer Esiason Foundation is a dynamic partnership of leaders in the medical and business communities joining with a committed core of volunteers to heighten awareness, education and the quality of life for those affected by cystic fibrosis, while providing financial support to research aimed at finding a cure.

Blooming Rose Foundation

The Blooming Rose Foundation was created to give hope to families immediately following cystic fibrosis diagnosis. Their goal is to positively reach the CF community by offering an online resource for individuals, families, and friends to find up-to-date research, links, and ways to connect with other families and adults with cystic fibrosis.

The Cody Dieruf Benefit Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis

The mission of The Cody Dieruf Benefit Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis is to raise awareness of cystic fibrosis. The foundation will provide financial assistance to help with medical copays, medical travel, insurance deductibles and insurance out of pocket expenses. They will also provide educational scholarships and cultural opportunities.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a nonprofit donor-supported organization, is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease.

The Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle Foundation

The Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle Foundation (CFLF) aids individuals with cystic fibrosis in creating healthy and active lifestyles through recreation. Through Recreation Grants, the CFLF educates adolescents and young adults with cystic fibrosis on the critical psychological, social and emotional connections between their lifestyle and their health.

Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc (CFRI)

Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. (CFRI) exists to fund research, to provide educational and personal support, and to spread awareness of cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease. As they work to find a cure for cystic fibrosis, CFRI envisions informing, engaging and empowering the CF community to help all who have this challenging disease attain the highest possible quality of life.

The United States Adults Cystic Fibrosis Association, Inc (USACFA)

The Purpose of USACFA is to provide a source of information for adults with cystic fibrosis regarding the basis, nature and progression of the disease, as well as the latest treatments and research to fight it and to provide a forum to communicate with each other.

Foundation Care and its staff are involved in a number of organizations because we understand the importance of building lasting relationships with other professionals in the industry and staying current on new technologies.  Listed below are examples of professional organizations our pharmacy and staff are a part of.

Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP)

The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is a national professional association of pharmacists and other health care practitioners who serve society by the application of sound medication management principles and strategies to improve health care for all.

American Pharmaceutical Association (APHA)

The American Pharmaceutical Association (APHA) is a leader in providing professional information and education for pharmacists and an advocate for improving the health of the American public.

American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP)

The vision of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) is optimal medication management and improved health outcomes for all older persons. The ASCP empowers pharmacists to enhance quality of care for all older persons through the appropriate use of medication and the promotion of healthy aging.

American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP)

The American Society of Health-System Pharmacy (ASHP) is a 35,000-member national professional association that represents pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems. ASHP is the only national organization of hospital and health-system pharmacists and has a long history of improving medication use and enhancing patient safety.

Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA)

The Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) is a 501(c)(6) member-based association for compliance professionals in the healthcare provider field. HCCA was established in 1996 and provides training, certification, networking, and other resources to over 10,900 members. Members include compliance officers and staff from a wide range of organizations, including hospitals, research facilities, clinics, and technology service providers. It also includes providers to the compliance community.

International Association of Compounding Pharmacy (IACP)

The International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) is an association that represents more than 2,000 pharmacists and technicians who focus on the specialty practice of pharmacy compounding.

Midwest Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers (MAMES)

The Midwest Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers (MAMES) is an organization formed out of the need for a more powerful voice in legislative matters. MAMES leads the way with the involvement of their members in state and federal legislative and regulatory issues.

Missouri Pharmacy Association (MPA)

The Missouri Pharmacy Association (MPA) is a committed group of professional pharmacists with high standards and goals, both for themselves and their profession. MPA has a rich history of involvement in pharmacy issues on state and national levels. With membership, a pharmacist joins others who support the professional ideas for which pharmacy stands.

National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP)

The mission of the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) is to improve specialty pharmacy practice by promoting continuing professional education and certification of specialty pharmacists while advocating for public policies that ensure appropriate patient access to specialty medications and related care services on behalf of the stakeholders the NASP serves.

National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)

The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), founded in 1898, represents America’s community pharmacists, including the owners of more than 23,000 pharmacies. The nation’s community pharmacies, pharmacy franchises, and regional chains dispense nearly half of the nation’s retail prescription medications.

National Home Infusion Association (NHIA)

The National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) is committed to meeting the needs of its growing and diverse membership—and to advocating on behalf of members and the home based infusion patient.

Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA)

The Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) has become the nation’s complete resource for fine chemicals, equipment, devices, flavors, ACPE-accredited (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education) training and education, pharmacy software, marketing, business and pharmacy consulting assistance.
